Welcome to Huron Island Time

Treats 'N eats on the Beach!

24 Mutchmor St, Providence Bay, ON

Huron Island Time brings a little bit of everything together in one easygoing beachside spot. We serve Caribbean-inspired take-out food, fresh-baked goods, and a rotating selection of ice cream flavours. You’ll also find local artisan products, unique gifts, beachwear, swimwear, toys, and summer essentials for a perfect day by the water.

Located steps from a wide sandy beach, it’s the kind of place where you can grab a bite, browse for something special, cool off with ice cream, and settle into the rhythm of island life.

Huron Island Time is also home to the Sunset Music Series, a summer concert series held Friday and Saturday evenings from early July to the end of August. The series features mostly Canadian artists and brings a wide range of music to the beach, including folk, country, jazz, funk, soul, Latin, electronic, and more.

With support from the Ontario Arts Council, the series continues to grow each year and adds even more life, energy, and creativity to the summer season.

Huron Island Time is a welcoming summer destination on the shores of Lake Huron, right in the heart of Manitoulin Island, also known traditionally as Mnidoo Mnising, the world’s largest freshwater island.

Every summer, people from across Canada and beyond come to Manitoulin for its natural beauty, relaxed pace, and rich cultural experiences. From Bridal Veil Falls and the Cup and Saucer Trail to local Pow Wows, dark sky stargazing, beaches, trails, shops, galleries, and small communities full of character, there is no shortage of reasons to explore the island.

Come for the food. Stay for the music. Spend the day at the beach and enjoy the best of Manitoulin Island at Huron Island Time.
