Naomi Eliana Pommier Steinberg is an acclaimed Canadian storyteller, educator, and author with over two decades of experience bringing folk tales and community stories to life through movement, clowning, and dynamic voice. She served as Artistic Director of the Vancouver Society of Storytelling from 2009 to 2014 and has led countless workshops and residencies in schools and cultural institutions .
Her self‑published book, Goosefeather – Once Upon a Cartographic Adventure, recounts her 382‑day, 55,965 km journey around the world—all told through both adult and children’s performances using kamishibai storytelling techniques.

Debajehmujig (meaning “storytellers” in Ojibwe/Cree) is a professional, multi-disciplinary First Nations arts organization from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory on Manitoulin Island. Founded in 1984, it's the longest-running Indigenous theatre company in North America, known for original productions, international outreach, and summer performances.
